Directions To
Westchester School For Special Children
From Manhattan
#1) From the west side of Manhattan, take the Henry Hudson Parkway north until it becomes
the Saw Mill Parkway North. From the east side of Manhattan, take roads leading to the Major Deegan
Expressway northbound to the Cross County Parkway west.
#2) Take the Yonkers Avenue West exit (directly past the overpass).
#3) At the exit's traffic light, bear right onto Yonkers Avenue.
#4) Stay in the right lane and make the first right (at the traffic light arrow) onto
Ashburton Avenue.
#5) Proceed on Ashburton Avenue for approximately 8-10 blocks. You will pass the red painted
St. Joseph's Church on your right hand side.
#6) Go 1 more block and you will come to Park Avenue.
#7) Make a right onto Park Avenue. The school is on your left hand side diagonally across from
St. John's Hospital.
From Long Island
Take either the Throgs Neck or Whitestone Bridge to the Hutchinson River Parkway north.
Get onto the Cross County Parkway heading west. Get off at the second
Yonkers Avenue exit and follow the directions in #2 above.
